Exchange  Motto

"Unity for Service"

"Exchange"
An organization that allows members to develop personal and business leadership skills while having fun, meeting new people and improving the community through service.

"Mission Statement"
Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.

"The National Exchange Club"
Exchange is made up of nearly 800 clubs with more than 25,000 members across the United States and Puerto Rico who sponsor a variety of activities to improve their communities. The first Exchange Club was formed in Detroit, Mich., in 1911. The National Exchange Club was organized in Toledo, Ohio, in 1917.

"Exchange Program of Service"
Exchange Clubs sponsor a wide variety of activities primarily focused around the Exchange Program of Service, which includes Child Abuse Prevention, community service, youth and Americanism. Improving communities, helping the disadvantaged and encouraging good American citizenship is what Exchange is all about. Collectively, Exchange Clubs donate millions of dollars and countless hours of volunteer service to better their communities each year.

"The National Exchange Club Foundation"
Exchange adopted child abuse prevention as its national project in 1979, establishing the Toledo-based National Exchange Club Foundation. Today, more than 100 Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers have been established across the country. The centers utilize professionally trained parent aides who work directly with families in need, teaching them positive parenting techniques. More than 1.3 million children and 593,000 families have benefited from Exchange’s efforts.
