We are
"The Stratford Exchange Club". We meet on the 2nd & 4th
Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. We meet at Augustyn's Blue Goose Restaurant at 326 Ferry Blvd,
Stratford, CT. 06615. For more information on our club follow the link who we are.
Feel free to stop by any meeting for free coffee and snacks, and in
true exchange spirit if you return to another meeting we will buy your
dinner. Exchange Motto "Unity for Service" "Exchange" An organization that allows members to develop personal and
business leadership skills while having fun, meeting new people and
improving the community through service."Mission Statement" Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men
and women working together to make our communities better places to
live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service,
Youth Activities, and its national project, the Prevention of Child
Abuse. "The National Exchange Club" Exchange is made up of nearly 800 clubs
with more than 25,000 members across the United States and Puerto Rico
who sponsor a variety of activities to improve their communities. The
first Exchange Club was formed in Detroit, Mich., in 1911. The National
Exchange Club was organized in Toledo, Ohio, in 1917."Exchange Program of Service" Exchange Clubs sponsor a wide variety of
activities primarily focused around the Exchange Program of Service,
which includes Child Abuse Prevention, community service, youth and
Americanism. Improving communities, helping the disadvantaged and
encouraging good American citizenship is what Exchange is all about.
Collectively, Exchange Clubs donate millions of dollars and countless
hours of volunteer service to better their communities each year."The National Exchange Club Foundation" Exchange adopted child abuse
prevention as its national project in 1979, establishing the
Toledo-based National Exchange Club Foundation. Today, more than 100
Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers have been established
across the country. The centers utilize professionally trained parent
aides who work directly with families in need, teaching them positive
parenting techniques. More than 1.3 million children and 593,000
families have benefited from Exchange’s efforts.We concentrate our efforts on Stratford, CT.
